Disney+: come funziona e prezzi del servizio streaming

Il nuovo servizio per lo streaming video di Disney è arrivato ufficialmente negli USA: cos’è, come funziona, i prezzi, e quando arriverà in Italia Disney+.

È ufficiale la nuova piattaforma di streaming targata Disney: se ne è sentito molto parlare negli ultimi mesi e, grazie alle proprietà della società statunitense, già da tempo ci si aspettava un catalogo piuttosto imponente.

Disney+ è un servizio che saprà di certo creare qualche grattacapo a Netflix, con un’invasione di campo tutta da gustare per gli appassionati di TV streaming.

Caratteristiche del servizio

Come Netflix, anche i servizi di Disney+ possono essere erogati soltanto attraverso una connessione a internet, ma con un’enorme vantaggio rispetto alla piattaforma californiana.
A differenza di Netflix, infatti, Disney Plus consente il download di tutto il proprio catalogo: sarà sufficiente una rete Wi-Fi stabile per selezionare film specifici da guardare anche senza una connessione a internet disponibile.

Il flusso audio e video di Disney+ è di altissima qualità, basti pensare al supporto alla risoluzione 4K-Dolby Vision, HDR10 e al Dolby Atmos.

Ogni account Disney+ può contenere 7 diversi profili, l’ideale per tenere separati gusti e visioni tra i diversi membri della famiglia, con possibilità di associare fino a 10 dispositivi compatibili.

Il nuovo servizio streaming può essere riprodotto su una grande quantità di device, come ad esempio:

Il catalogo di Disney+

Nonostante il nome, su Disney Plus non sono disponibili soltanto contenuti destinati alla visione dei più piccoli: il discorso va allargato a tutti i film e le serie TV oggi di proprietà Disney.
Oltre ai Classici Disney, sulla nuova piattaforma di streaming si potranno (ri) vedere gli intramontabili Mamma ho perso l’aereo, I Robinson, Fantasia, Lizzie McGuire, X-Men, Avatar, ma anche tutti i film Marvel, Pixar, gli episodi di Star Wars, i contenuti Fox come tutte le stagioni de I Simpson, i contenuti di National Geographic e attesissime nuove esclusive. Tra i contenuti originali Disney+ saranno presto disponibili The Mandalorian, spin-off ambientato nell’universo di Star Wars, ma anche la serie di High School Musical.

Quando arriva Disney Plus in Italia

Il debutto ufficiale di Disney+ è avvenuto lo scorso 12 novembre negli Stati Uniti, in Canada e in Nuova Zelanda, mentre l’Italia, insieme alla Francia, alla Spagna, alla Germania e al Regno Unito dovrà attendere l’anno nuovo, e in particolare il 31 marzo 2020. In tutti gli altri paesi il servizio streaming di Disney sarà rilasciato nel corso dei prossimi mesi.

Costo abbonamento

Uno dei principali punti di forza di Disney Plus è di certo il prezzo dell’abbonamento, stabilito a 6.99 euro per quello mensile, che arrivano a 69.99 euro per quello annuale. Un’unica tipologia di abbonamento disponibile, per approfittare della visione di un catalogo mastodontico e sempre in crescita, il cui costo potrebbe essere facilmente condiviso con altre persone. Dato l’importante numero di profili attivabili su un unico account, infatti, e la disponibilità di connettere più di 10 device allo stesso, con alte probabilità sarà possibile condividere l’abbonamento a Disney+ anche con gli amici.
